I found Lance on farrier.com, after a Google search to find a new farrier after mine had disappeared (I do still hope everything is okay with him!). Lance responded in a very timely manner (many of the others I tried to contact did not), and set up an appointment within a day. He was on time, and did a fantastic job cleaning up my Clydesdale's hooves (they were flaring and splitting, as they were 16 weeks out of trim). My other horse has a hoof deformation due to a coronet band laceration as a colt, and needs special shoeing - Lance did a great job, and was very patient with both of my horses. I am extremely happy with his work. I look forward to his next visit!

Lance is both a good farrier and a good friend. He's done some excellent corrective shoeing for a mare I have with an odd heel structure, as well trimming the rest of the herd.

I'd highly recommend him, for everything from basic trimming to custom shoeing. Good craftsman, good man.

I had used a few Farriers for my Belgian before I contacted Lance. It was easy to find someone who could "Slap some iron on." Not Lance. He's a true craftsman in his trade. I wouldn't use anyone else.

changing farriers can be hard, but bottom line, the horse and his feet are of utmost importance. Lance has shod my horse twice, after the first shoeing I noticed her naturally square up on her own, she moved out with a much better stride than before, he told me the good, the not so good (my mare has small feet) and what he can do to help her out. Very nice guy too, a pleasure to have in the barn, we also enjoy his very sweet, kind and pleasant wife. Thanks Lance, very glad to have my horse in your hands!

I have a Pony that is over 40 and he could hardly walk and with just 1 trim from Lance he is wanting to trot and was not limping. Lance just did a second trim and he was wanting to RUN after. I also have a Paint Mare and after both of their trims they were sore for 1 or 2 days and with Lance they are not sore at all. NO BUTE AFTER LANCE. Lance I'm so impressed on the work you did on both my horse and pony. Thank You.

Had seen Lance's work for awhile at a friends barn. When my horse kept coming up with gait problems I asked him to come out and check him out. The first shoeing done by Lance on my horse you could noticed a difference.

I am very happy to have Lance as a farrier. He does excellent work, knows what he is doing, and would recommened him to anyone looking for a farrier. He is the best farrier I have ever had. (I have had a lot of farriers)

When I first met Lance I called about 15 different farriers and could not find a Draft farrier. I talked to Lance and he was happy to shoe my big draft horse. now I no longer have my draft, but Lance does an excellent job on my two other horses. It is great to have someone who knows and cares about your horse’s feet. I recommend him to everyone I know. I value his friendship and will always be grateful!
